What: An evening trip for self contained paddlers with access to and the means of getting their craft to the starting and returning point of Oxnead Bridge, Brampton , Near Burgh next Aylsham.

From the put in we paddle downstream towards Buxton Mill past Oxnead Hall , before turning and returning to the get in point. If you can paddle confidently and comfortably up to Hellesdon Mill from the club and back on a club night then you should be Ok for this evenings paddle. The exact distance paddled will be determined by paddlers experiences and wishes.
The plan will be to be of the water by 2030 hrs.
When : WEDNESDAY 15th July 2026. Meet at the get in point (226241) at 1830 hrs. NOT AT EAGLE CANOE CLUB. Its a case of parking alongside the road on either side of the bridge and then launching by the bridge.
What's involved? Meet at the get in point on the River Bure. Unload, park up and get afloat. We will return to the get in point .
Do remember to bring a selection of clothing, even if its hot weather including a waterproof, so you can cope with whatever the weather does.
