Meet at the get in point for 1830 hrs. NOT AT EAGLE CANOE CLUB.

What: An evening trip for self contained paddlers with access to and the means of getting their craft to the starting and returning point of Ringland. A paddle along the River Wensum. This is NOT a paddle from Ringland to the Eagle Canoe Club.
There may be an opportunity to collect a club boat earlier in the evening if you have transport for yourself and the means of carrying the boat. If this appeals sign up early , saying clearly this is what you would like to do so I can see if this is a possibility.
Get in Point: The green open area in front of The Swan, Public House , Ringland. NR8 6AB. We need to be careful unloading here as its on a busy corner . Its somewhat limited parking but with good will on everyone's part we usually manage.

Meet at the get in point for 1830 hrs.
Finish : we should finish and be off the water by 2030 hrs.
Toilet facilities : The nearby Swan Public House is now reopened. There are no other toilet facilities in the immediate area of the get in point.
If you can paddle confidently and comfortably up to Hellesdon Mill from the club and back on a club night then you should be Ok for this evenings paddle. The exact distance paddled will be determined by paddlers experience and wishes.
Do remember to bring a selection of clothing, even if its hot weather including a waterproof, so you can cope with whatever the weather does.
